Context

Vital VOICE Magazine was St. Louis' premier publication and event producer serving the LGBTQ community. The monthly periodical offered a colorful array of features, columns, local stories and photography along with hard news.

Scope

I served as the in-house designer, providing a large range of services including cover design, editorial layouts, client advertising design, event branding, B2B marketing and social media graphics.

I also oversaw the design intern and lead art direction for many internal and sponsored projects for the magazine and events.

In addition, I lead a brand refresh of the editorial identity system, updating the impressum and regular feature styles.
